But for thirty-year-old Erin Stevens of Alliance, this past Saturday turned into a living nightmare on a busy Canton road. Her sudden passing has left a massive void in the hearts of everyone who knew her, transforming a regular summer morning into a time of deep mourning.
The emergency calls started hitting the dispatch desks right around ten-thirty in the morning. Out at the corner of U.S. Route 62 and Harmont Avenue Northeast, a quiet weekend morning shattered instantly. First responders rushed to the scene after reports flooded in about a violent two-vehicle wreck. By the time the sirens faded, it was clear that this was not just a simple fender bender.

They finally came to a stop in the southeast corner of the crossroads. The momentum was so intense that the massive Silverado actually flipped over completely, landing upside down.

The damage to the Mitsubishi Mirage was so severe that rescuers had to use specialized heavy equipment to cut the young woman free from the wreckage.
