The 47-year-old Williamstown local lost his life in a sudden, violent motorcycle crash on Dixie Highway. It happened just as the weekend was coming to a close, leaving a family and a small town grieving a life cut short far too soon.
Bobby was riding his 2021 Harley-Davidson southbound through the quiet town of Walton, located in Boone County just southwest of Cincinnati. It was a route many local bikers know well, a long stretch of asphalt connecting small communities across northern Kentucky. Shortly before 6:45 p.m., what started as an ordinary Sunday drive took a fatal turn near the intersection of Duffel Lane.
According to deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Bobby was navigating a left-hand curve when he lost control of the Harley. The bike drifted off the right side of the road, hitting a concrete culvert before slamming directly into a metal gate outside a local business in the 11000 block of Dixie Highway.
The violent impact threw Bobby directly off the motorcycle. First responders rushed to the scene after dispatchers got the call at 6:42 p.m., but there was nothing emergency crews could do to save him. Authorities pronounced the 47-year-old dead right there on the shoulder of the highway.
