Tuesday morning started like any other day in Cleveland, but it ended in complete tragedy for a local family. Abdullah Jaffal, a 38-year-old driver, lost his life after a violent rollover crash on Interstate 490 West. The incident happened right near the interchange for Interstate 71 South.
People who knew Abdullah are still trying to process the awful news. One minute he was driving down the highway in his BMW, and the next, everything changed forever. The sudden loss has left his friends, family, and neighbors in total shock and heavy grief.
According to local authorities, the crash was extremely violent. Abdullah’s BMW flipped over during the wreck on I-490 West. The force of the impact was so strong that he was thrown directly from the vehicle as it overturned.
First responders rushed to the scene as soon as the calls came in. When emergency crews got there, they found Abdullah lying in the grass about 50 feet away from the wrecked car. Paramedics worked fast to stabilize him right there on the shoulder.
