The folks down in the Owosso community are dealing with a really heavy loss right now. A young local guy named Robbie Kennell had his life cut way too short over the weekend. He was only 22 years old when a terrible motorcycle accident took him away on a quiet Sunday evening.
Robbie was the kind of person who really left a mark on the people around him. His sudden passing has left a massive, empty space in the hearts of his family and close friends. Everyone who knew him is struggling to wrap their heads around the fact that he is suddenly gone.

The whole thing went down in Owosso Township. The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office said they got the emergency call around 7:36 p.m. Responders rushed out to the area of North Chipman Road near Cronk Road after reports hit the station about a bad wreck.
Robbie was out riding his 2005 Honda CBR-1000 motorcycle that night. He was heading northbound on the road when things took a devastating turn. For reasons the police are still looking into, the sports bike completely left the roadway.
The bike went through a steep ditch on the side of the road. It kept going until it slammed into several trees. When the deputies finally got to the scene, they found Robbie, but it was already too late. He was pronounced dead right there from the heavy injuries he took.
Right now, his loved ones are doing their best to hold onto the good times they shared. They are remembering the laughs, the friendships, and all the little moments that made Robbie such a special guy to have around. Those memories are keeping them going through this nightmare.
It is an incredibly tough time for the whole neighborhood as they say goodbye to a young man who had so much life left to live. His journey ended way too soon on that Michigan road. Everyone is just hoping his family can find some peace and strength to get through this awful loss.
